The Climate Mvt and Climate Action Supporters, along with the accelerating rate of tech change or ARTC, will make such projections look as foolish as so many others. At least the Rhodium Group basically admits it. climateoutlook.rhg.com/reports/rhod... #climateaction #climatehope #climatemvt

It’s both/and, not either/or.
If @billgates.bsky.social were to read #ScienceUnderSiege by @peterhotezmdphd.bsky.social & myself, he would know that climate change is amplifying deadly pandemics. Only someone ignorant of the science adopts the fallacy that we can treat global health and the climate crisis as separate threats

I use Chenoweth’s findings to explain how big and broad and active the Climate Movement must be. Their research suggests that if a mvt includes 3.5% of a population it can be successful. Given speed/scale, I argue that we must become 5% by 2030 — 400 million worldwide! #climatemvt #climateaction

Central Europe is giving a thumbs up to the planet and a big middle finger to Mr. Putin. Solar is beating fossil fuels, creating local jobs, reducing air and climate pollution, & creating home-grown clean energy. #climateaction #climatehope #climatemvt #cleanenergy
Everywhere where solar-plus-batteries can compete without hostile political interference it is crushing the fossil competition. The economics will win out, but for climate we must accelerate this transformation. #climateaction #climatehope #solar tinyurl.com/4s93b37b
