I mentioned it just now, but I think I got away with it.

Unfortunately the BBC and other media has failed to report the similar restrictions we are introducing for visitors to the UK. They will need to buy an ETA to visit. Like Canada and US have had for some time. But you did know that didn’t you?

Indeed, so many Brexit supporters have left ironically

He didn’t. His weasel words tried to imply that so that’s what people heard. He knew he was being deliberately misleading

We both thrive if we are joined in the EU. It’s called mutual benefit. A concept lost on brexiteers. Being in the EU was good for both sides. It’s really not a question of one needing the other more.

Exactly. They’re taking control of their borders. A good thing. Surely even right wingers can understand that because it’s what they love.

BBC News explain that because of Brexit, Brits will be photographed and have their fingerprints taken when going into the EU, as the UK now is a third country

BBC News forget to explain that the UK helped create these rules when we were part of the EU because we wanted stronger border control

Pritzker: "You just heard a tidal wave of lies from the VP. It's a bit shocking. And you heard over & over him just making things up. There's a reason why the judge here in federal court said that they admin lacks credibility and why even the Nobel committee chair said the admin lacks integrity."

And the rest are possibly from Russia, itself a big fossil fuel industry?

Isn’t it controlling, checks notes, OUR borders though? You know, the thing everyone is SUPPOSED to care about?

Oh dear. Reducing budget will surely just make matters worse. It’s never a good plan. Allow successful universities to increase fees instead. Carrot, not ridiculous stick

Glad to see Nigel Farage has finally remembered Nathan Gill, former leader of Reform in Wales - found guilty of taking bribes from Russia.

Maybe he'll now remember how much he took from Putin's propaganda broadcaster Russia Today for all his TV appearances when he was a MEP?

Alarming that both Tories and Reform are committed to accelerating fossil fuel use and rolling back renewables. A suicide lobby, enthusiastic about wrecking our future! #Fossilfools #ClimateChange

Right wingers can’t complain about the EU controlling it’s own borders can they? Oh, I forgot, right wingers are fine with their own rank hypocrisy…
jimhigham.bsky.social
And it remains (pun unintended) a very good thing.

Teesside’s freeport, initiated in 2021 under Rishi Sunak, has cost £560 million far exceeding the standard £25 million allocation (22 times the standard £25m).
90% profits go to the private sector.
This clearly shows the UK model of State aid post-Brexit is utterly corrupt.
