“Well… I haven’t quite decided how I’m going to spend my weekend.” He admits, leaning on the counter now. Like this, Dan Heng can see that he has a second mole on his face, besides the one under his left eye - there’s also one just peeking out from under his bangs, near his hairline. “I had considered going home and racing through this, but… there’s this new cafe opening on 5th street that looks really good, and I do like to occasionally treat myself.”

“You could bring your book with you?” Dan Heng offers, not sure exactly where this is going with such a simple solution right in front of him.

“I thought the very same. But truly, aren’t new experiences better shared?’ Jing Yuan offers. “Tell me, Mr. Librarian, do you like coffee?”

Or, regular patron Jing Yuan offers to buy librarian Dan Heng a coffee.
