I can’t bear the thought of possibly forgetting how painful it all is.
I feel like I have to listen to Ghosteen at least once a week or else I’m going to lose touch with something true and painful that I can’t let go of.

Insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly, expecting change. Grief is doing the same thing repeatedly for fear of change.
This album is so beautiful. Thanks, @rolotomassiband.

This is as poppy as anything has ever been. It has a damn saxophone doing the damn 80s saxophone thing (which I hated for the first ~30 years of my life).

But, oh boy. That prechorus? The piano chords leading into the chorus? THE CHORUS?...
I grew up on arena-era Cure in a time when everyone I knew was into grunge.

Which is why it is wild that I am sitting here working to a playlist based off of Boy Meets Girl's "Waiting for a Star to Fall," which includes Mr. Mister's "Kyrie" and Level 42's "Something About You."
