I knew Gill and Farage and the rest of the UKIP crew in the European Parliament

They were crooks and shysters to a man

They repeated Putin talking points and appeared on Russia Today

UKIP then and Reform now are both a threat to our democracy

Reform UK, the Russian spy and rolls of Kremlin cash: the inside story of Nathan Gill
How did a former Mormon bishop end up pleading guilty to taking bribes to make statements in favour of Russia in the European parliament?

I keep seeing headlines about Trump's staff using the words
"Top Trump Officials" and I can't help but think about the card game.

Never in the history of the US has any president openly and repeatedly called for the investigation, arrest & prosecution of his political opponents. While many continue to shrug these things off and normalize them, I will never stop pointing out that this is what autocrats do.

BBC News predictably entirely focused on the predicament of white British tourists on holiday in Jamaica, rather than the people who live there and will have to rebuild their homes after the tourists have fucked off.
Myst was insane. Did anyone ever finish it?
What actually happened?
Why is it only on stream?
Can I have it back on the PlayStation please?
Until I realised that 30 years ago that would have been me.
Still looking perfectly healthy and happy, but not aware that it isn't healthy or impressive to be breakfast drinking on a Sunday morning.
It took a long time to learn that.
This morning, about 10am I was wandering around Bath city centre and passed a little bar, there were two people sat outside, one had a glass of water, the other a pint. I glanced at them and started to sneer at the guy, probably in his early 20's, for drinking so early in the morning..
Most people don't, but if you do, so what?
Enjoy yourself.

PAYCHECK $0.00

A single dad holding back tears on national TV because his federal paycheck can’t cover food and rent, while Trump’s building a $350 million ballroom at the White House.

Is America great yet?

Trump’s government just cut a deal to buy thousands of drone parts from Donald Trump Jr.’s new drone company. The family business model is now officially: corruption on autopilot. 💰 The grift in this criminal enterprise runs deep!

Newcastle United's owner has killed 12 people this month.
In just first two weeks this October, Saudi Arabia executed 12 people:

⚖️ 1 Retribution (Qisas)

💊 8 Narcotics offenses

🔒 3 Terrorism/Security charges

Despite that next month, it will host the 26th U.N. Tourism General Assembly in Riyadh

🕯️ 12 lives in 14 days.
I hope she demands her right to be tried in a full court with a judge and jury.
Article 6 of our human rights act protects our rights to a fair trial and a trial by jury is an essential part of it.
As a former head of the CPS Starmer will know this, but what will he use to wiggle out of it?

@teamlabouruk.bsky.social wanna explain this?
"If you’re a bunch of racist Israeli football hooligans who want to travel to the UK for sport - the British government will fund your security when the police say it’s unsafe for you to come. It will approve your visa"

"But if you’re an 11 year old table tennis prodigy from Iran ...."

Nadine Dories on BBCQT rubbishing Labour’s one in one out plan after an asylum seeker who was sent back to France returned soon after on another dinghy. She forgets that of the four volunteers her govt sent to Rwanda, one of those quickly returned to the UK too and that scheme cost us £47million !

Enten: "Trump is doing absolutely awful in the minds of the American people. We're talking about new lows. CNBC, -13 net approval on the economy. It's -19 among Quinnipiac ... He's not just beating himself with record lows -- this is the lowest for any president ever."
I see the #Trump fkwits are trying to undermine #Bluesky
