I think the acid I’ve dropped in recent months has done something. I feel more expansive, more accepting. More in tune with the universal, fundamental drone. I think acid is a sacrament, and needs to be treated with respect. But it has also opened my mind.

The first two #MercuryRev albums were SO fucken sick. They kicked out their singer, David Baker, after those two rekkids and, like so many bands we loved, kinda lamed out after that. I woulda LOVED to have seen them in 91. So many bands, so many bands we never saw.

As a writer, you know what bugs me? How most media outlets have stopped using honorifics. When I came thru, the only people who didn’t get them were convicted criminals.
