One shouldn't have to alter their entire brain chemistry to "exist comfortably". It's not the fault of the person with the disability if the world seems so hostile, it's a fundamental flaw with society. The cost of giving up my mind, my passions, my talents, all for the sake of comfort scares me.

Electric Dreams fan here, it's had a MASSIVE resurgence with Gen Z! It's quite funny, because half the time what you see is someone talking about the movie they liked when they were a kid, and then the other half is just people being like "DAMN I wanna kiss Edgar..."
