Texans separated from their families, Texan employers deprived of their workers, reducing productivity and burdening the tax base of all Texans. Texan guardsman forever realizing their mission is not national defense but being mercenaries for cynical political leadership. 21st century Hessians.
No one wants to de-fund the police, ie, favor criminals. That's asinine. What this spree of wanton abuse of power will do is reinforce for a generation that the militaristic tendency in policing has to be curtailed in favor of more measured, intelligent strategies of maintaining safe communities.
This was probably triggered by an algorithm which correctly identified the conduct as abusive violence by armed men against an unarmed, nonconfrontational woman. It is shocking, and upsetting. It also needs to be seen.
Yes, please. I'd rather have a tower full of feverish, wheezing, sneezing, bleary- eyed sick people. Just in time for cold and flu season, and no one is getting vaccinated.
What I'm sure of: Trump will forget or ignore any promises made on behalf of the United States as soon as it is even remotely convenient for him to do so. He has a clear track record; only a fool would ignore it.
Maybe the worst part of this is realizing that this is how he communicates privately with other human beings. So much damage. And this is the president of the United States.
Isn't all this wrangling meaningless when a month ago Trump posted a fake picture of himself as Duvall in APOCALYPSE NOW, writing "I love the smell of deportations in the morning?" and "Chicago about to find out why it's called the Department of WAR"? This is not someone who operates in good faith.

If you're not Republican you don't deserve to live, or live well at least.
To repeat: Given what's happening in the federal government, WaPo choosing to target a program benefiting veterans as the example to highlight of "waste, fraud and abuse" is quite a tell. Question the source, question the motive...most of all, cancel your subscription to this rapidly decaying rag.

The era of administrative agency in govt is ending. With Reagan they kept the agency but inverted the mission, like Trump1. Trump2 they're killing the agency and inverting the mission. As public/private cooperation is dead, the solution will be to criminalize and prosecute corporate conduct.
