Played some „SpaceCorp“ yesterday and it’s simply amazing! So far I only played the solo game but I really like the human competition with some of the interaction/interference. Really outstanding! @gmtgames.bsky.social

Played the original „Caylus“ after years of not playing it and it still very much holds up! The designer (William) was playing „Shogun“ at the neighboring table by the way 🫣 Definitely one of the meaner euro-/workerplacement games out there.

Yesterday’s game night was only one game: „Bier Pioniere“ and I really enjoyed this one; even though it went a tad too long for what it is. Pretty sure we can decrease the game time significantly when playing again soon though.

Finally we were able to continue our Thursday game night (our regular venue had some technical issues for quite a while) but we almost had 20 gamers joining us, so we had some great games on the various tables. I enjoyed „7 Empires“ and „Foundations of Metropolis“ - and actually won them both 🫣

Today I was doing my first learning session of „Neon Hope“ where Cyberpunk meets the AHLCG (at least some mechanics feel remotely familiar). The publisher kindly provided a preview copy - the campaign will most like launch sometime in March on Kickstarter. @hopefulgames.bsky.social
