Hahahahahahahaha.

It's silly but I'd rather have all those tabs open and find what I want than bookmark.

Bookmarks feel too permanent.

My poor machine groans under the virtual weight of all those tabs.
Good luck, someone watered mine and it was as if they had been doused in acid.
Haunting and heartbreaking!

Are you planning on illustrating it?

It would make a beautiful piece in your style.
You have to do whatever works!

It's a good thing you realized what was blocking you.
Welcome back!

Here is toasting to a bunch of extra sunrises and making the most out of them!
Heh so it is not that tolerant, good.

A while ago I had a tiny tank with just some plants, two feather duster shrimp and a kuhli loach.

I also had duckweed and snails. The snails ate the duckweed and I guess the loach ate enough snails so they did not become a problem.

Kept everyone for years.
Cool, I have mug with duckweed on my balcony, It does well in Lima’s weird climate.

I read on one of your skeets that the mud skippers are tolerant of water parameters.

Does that include brackish and fresh water or is duckweed more tolerant than I know?
Awesome!

Are those water lentils in the tank?
That's awesome! I hope we get lots of pictures.

I have not seen them live yet.
Really sorry for your loss.
Hi, they have it on the menu at Panchita.

Place is a bit pricey, but food is great.

Hehehehe, as you probably saw, there barley any trees.
@ethankocak.com the Desert Tegu has eluded me so far, it is unusually skittish.

I see tracks on the sand everywhere but I only see it from afar.

On the other hand, I took pictures of a Knobbed Iguana (at least that is what iNaturalist says), I would have guessed it was an anole of some kind.
Thanks. That's a relief.

Two days ago I found a dead one on the beach.

A real shame, it must have been sick because I did not see any obvious wounds anywhere.
@ethankocak.com these are the only pictures I have managed so far.

I miss having a real camera.

The local name for the Peruvian Desert Tegu is Cañan.
@ethankocak.com can I bother you with two questions?

Do you know if hawksbill turtles shed scales from the shell?

Found this one yesterday walking on the beach.

If I manage to take a decent picture of the Peruvian Desert Tegu that lives on the empty lot next door with my cell I'll share it.
Myself, my wife and two daughters were the only ones in our group to get into the water but it was a fun experience.

The sea lions get really close.

We are currently vacationing on the northern coast.
If you don't mind me asking, How long will you be staying?

The tours out of El Callao to El Frontón and the islands beyond are interesting, and you may see birds like Blue Footed Boobies and Humboldt Penguins.

They'll take you to the Sea Lion colony, the stench is powerful and the water is cold.
Here are some other pictures of places I can visit.

It may be an interesting experiment (or not, and then I'll stop).

I had a silly idea, it may be original.

I am on the northern coast of Peru and, subject to legal constraints, the limitations of my Apollo era hardware, and toolset provided by the hotel, I may take a closer look where directed.

Below is a sample of pictures.
It'll be 33 years this November for my wife and I.

Would do it all over again!
This one from about 12 years ago was chill and sweet.

It lived on campus at Universidad Simón Bolívar, in Caracas, Venezuela, and was wild but used to people wandering the garden.

At some point lost part of its tail in a dust-up with a dog.

I wonder if it's still around.
I think I'll try that.

But I wonder about the light. I guess that's another thing that might help.
