Unfortunately, and to my chagrin in large part because the story stops focusing on Richard, that never feels truly resolved. You have Jacob directly ask Lara if "cleaning daddy's name" is really what she wants to do, and then that's that until the end of the game.

It's sad, because even if she was forced to had that plot point to Rise, it feels Rhianna Pratchett tried as much as possible to make Richard just an excuse Lara gives others and even herself for what she actually wants to do: prove that all the Himiko and immortal soul shenanigans were real.

It will still need to focus a bit on that for what I want to do to be effective, and hopefully it will, but it really is the biggest sour spot on a movie I actually enjoyed.

If Tomb Raider itself doesn't do anything for the anniversary today or tomorrow, I suspect it will be mid November, as Netflix doesn't really promote their animated series all that much unless they are gigantic hits.
