first video I’ve seen discussing AI not as sentient or not sentient, self aware or not self aware in itself but as a kind of Doppleganger. A mirror where in our reflection seems to move on its own occasionally.

He really loves this stuff and you can tell. He showed his notes on alchemy from when he was 14 and I teared up. He has a calling and he’s following it I for one am so grateful

Additionally, the green lion eats the Sun because the universal solvent was distinguished by its ability to dissolve gold. Gold is represented by the sun. Whether or not they achieved this is debatable lol theyes need the universal container real quick. If not they’d be in trouble lol

When dealing with coded imagery like this there is leeway for interpretation but modern chemists have performed historical analysis on the formulas we have access to to decode the meaning of symbols. Most symbols are phases of the chrysopoeic process. alchemists were the original gate keepers lol

When thinking of transmutation spiritually as Jung does you can see the central work of chrysopoeia (lead into gold) as The Individuation process central to Jungs analytical psychology. It’s all massively interesting.

Esoterica is my favorite YouTube channel. Highly reccomend. The Green Lion is “vitriol” or the Universal Solvent. alchemy is interpreted in many ways. Sometimes as a spiritual practice. Sometimes as proto chemistry. Dr Justin Sledge goes more proto chemistry. Jung more spiritual.

I have been spending a lot of time writing on the Tarot. Got about 30k words for the booklet so far. And I still feel like it’s not enough! So much present in the cards, I can only share so much.

Esoterica is def in my top 5 on YouTube. Curt Jaimungal of TOE, This Jungian Life, Eternalised, and Mark Vernon are probably the others I watch the most. Love History of the Universe too for sleeps.

I love Dr Justin Sledge of Esoterica for many reasons but rn he is in the process of putting up a 10 hour college level lecture series on a very obscure (but extremely important) topic and still calls it An Introduction. That’s a guy who knows his shit.
