+ The way "hostages" is applied to Israelis hostages but not to Palestinians when the same articles admit "vast majority of Palestinian prisoners were held without charge" which reads to me like they were hostages, too.

Very jarring how the media treats some lives as inherently and others not.

I am happy for hostages and their families to be reunited, but it’s shocking how little media attention is given to “how do Gazans grapple with the utter destruction of their homes, vast loss of lives, and ongoing famine.”

As for Kobe, he raped a woman, and then dragged her through the courts so badly that the state of Colorado had to change their laws to ensure it wouldn't happen to someone else. At the height of #MeToo, to ignore that part of his legacy is wild.

I know sports fan/"stan" culture is toxic because Diane died and people are saying "She was iconic AND defended a child molester" and people are nodding along like, yes!Both are true!

Meanwhile, I tweeted "Don't forget Kobe was a rapist" and got so many death threats, cops told me to go into hiding

Oh and this isn't because I'm some diehard Thanksgiving lover. I didn't grow up doing anything for Thanksgiving because it was usually the start of hunting season, so all the men were on the land. And now I'm vegan, so I truly DGAF about Thanksgiving 😂 I just hate people being smug AND wrong.

Thanksgiving in Canada has nothing to do with Columbus!

We are a colonial country with a million things to atone for but Thanksgiving is not one of them.

Our Thanksgiving is timed with the harvest and it's literally just "Be grateful for harvest"

People love to come on here and accuse me of carceral feminism but all I'm seeing are 50+ men that are literally on camera sexually assaulting an unconscious woman and yet literally telling the courts that they are the actual victims.

They are clearly not safe to be out in the world right now.
