Damn the book was first written in *1899.*

Ironically one of my biggest worries about this book is that it might break my spreadsheet 🥲 I've been putting in /18 for 2018 dates and I'm realllllly hoping that I'm not gonna confuse the software in a way that requires me to manually update every date.

Owning the libs by faithfully preserving one of the earliest trans manuscripts in posterity for future generations 😎

Dear god do I hate this man.

I read through his AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF AN ANDROGYNE. I cannot say that I enjoyed it.
I neither liked the style in which it was written, nor the manner in which, to me, unimportant details were given a

great deal of space, nor the manner in which vital ques- tions were entirely overlooked.
I did not see any scientific value in the conversations related nor any poetical value in the verses recited.
The subject matter was all well known to me and nauseating.
I was to edit this "Autobiography" and stood aghast at the task that I thought was before me.
I saw the author and told him what I have just stated and that in my opinion the book had neither literary nor scientific value in the way in which he thought it had.
I found that the author was severely hurt. This Auto- biography was his joy - a work which this epoch had been waiting for and which futurity will crown as a classic.
He fought with all his might against any of his verses being omitted. Every single word that I wanted to change or expunge was of vital importance to him.
And then I saw a light.
The AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF AN ANDROGYNE would serve its mission best unedited, and so it practically remains.

What's striking about this is how similar her life was to trans folks today.

Like girlie really spent her adolescence having TG/TF fantasies and hanging with her local group of inverts who were all artsy overachievers and having incredible amounts of trans misogynistic childhood trauma.

Chrono Preggers 2: the Sequel

It's such a weird move to make. I don't get it at all lol

This is a perfect depiction of how it feels to be traumatized by an episode of your favorite childhood television series.

Toujima Tanzaburou wa Kamen Rider ni Naritai Episode #2: It's so fascinating to me how they manage to recreate an aged film look for animation thanks to the digital compositing.

It's a shame that nobody's done, like, a more expansive take Death Note. Like, Hollywood ensemble television series are all very played out in a way, but these narration boxes really make you wonder just how a wider look at the world changing thanks to Kira would look. The focus on Light kinda hurts
julieybm.bsky.social
This first arc of the post-timeskip half of the series is so wild to me. It's very much got an action thriller film plot going on, but you can feel like Light is so totally off his game that it's a wonder nobody really caught onto him yet.

Narcissists bring out the worst in us so as to inflate their own egos, I think. Everyone needs to play Light's game and it inevitably ends with them getting into the mud.
julieybm.bsky.social
Not to mention, like, he had, what, five years to study this shit and did so from a distance so as to not let his ego get in the way? Seems perfectly good to me.

Yeah, some of those noses and brows are *extremely* yikes.

This suuuuuuuucks. I want a crossover game where all the characters look cool and fight cool >_<

(Honestly, a crossover game just reusing the VII Rebirth combat system would be fucking amazing)
julieybm.bsky.social
They just die so nonchalantly in the comic, turning their deaths into this big cinematic scene almost feels weird, even though I wanted more from the Yotsuba executives lol.
