Also, if you want to argue that games should cost more and that predatory pricing models like micro transactions exist to compensate, then a price increase needs to come with a reduction in predatory monetization, not a continuation of it at a higher price point

The cost of physical production approaching zero should absolutely be factored in as well, though, and there's no compelling reason why games need to have such massive budgets in this day and age, especially when the runaway successes are almost all much smaller projects.

I mean if it's something that would take multiple sessions sure but again I'm prefacing all of this in it being someone I had other reasons to trust already. People can make mistakes and be redeemed. A society that inherently disallows rehabilitation is a bad society.
