The Brutalist

The director deserved an Oscar solely for putting a baked-in 15 minute intermission into his 3.5 hour long movie. The movie itself was okay.

I'm glad people have largely rejected the idea that Hana is bad trans rep. If being clocky and flamboyant is all it takes for a character to be bad trans rep in someone's eyes, then I'd be afraid to know what they think of the trans people that describes

Nosferatu (2024)

I felt let down by the people who called this movie psychosexual. Nosferatu going dubcon mode doesn't make the movie psychosexual. Candyman was far more psychosexual than this, despite having far less sex!

I'm also emotionally immature and couldn't get past his mustache.
