The Hardy Boys, Baby Sitters Club, Sweet Valley Twins, Sweet Valley High, and I loved Shel Silverstein because I loved the way he played with words and made them say things I didnt think they could say. Then when I was 12, my aunt handed me a VC Andrews book. And woah.

Did I have a lightbulb moment while I was editing my MS today? Yes. Am I excited by it? Yes. Will it require me to tear some things apart and stitch them back together? Yes. Am I doing it because the story needs it, or because I'm scared to call it finished and start querying? I honestly don't know.
