The GOP has always been on the side of survival of the richest. Food, housing, retirement, medical care, these things are reserved for the wealthy. Peasants don’t pay campaign bills, bribes, give insider trading tips, buy your mom a house. If you have no money for them, they have no time or you.

I joined the Army Security Agency in '75. Right after Watergate and the exposure of COINTELPRO. No one is more sensitive to the need to protect sources and methods. Also no one is more aware of how politicians have use phony concerns for NATSEC to hide their crimes. Tell Hegseth to pound sand.

The project 2025 guys believe wealth is proof of God's favor and illness and poverty are proof of God's condemnation. So if your poor or sick, you deserve it. Everything about "Christian" nationalism is the opposite of everything Jesus taught.

In 1995 Netanyahu made the rounds of US churches raising money to run for prime minister. When he finished speaking I leaned over to some friends and said, “slimeball.” My opinion of him today is much worse. Neither he, nor Trump, nor Hamas, nor the oil sheiks can be trusted in any of this.
