We were in a rush to get something to eat before we had to go on our bus, and Starbucks was the best option in our vicinity. FWIW, I tend to avoid American restaurants and cuisine when traveling abroad.

Got to see the Eiffel Tower at night, which was very pretty. Not really digging the lighthouse-style rotating lights. Felt that distracted from the iconic look.

Saw some awesome comic and manga stores on the way home. Most were closed, but I managed to get into one and but an Evangelion magazine lol

It’s undergoing renovations since the fire some years ago. Should hopefully be completed by 2030 or so.

There were some parakeets in the trees nearby being silly. Apparently they’re an invasive species here.

Afterwards, we headed to the street vendor book sellers and then the world famous Shakespeare and Company bookstore.

Had a salmon appetizer, a ham and pasta main course, a chocolate mousse dessert, and a post-meal espresso. I was so stuffed I was bloated the rest of the day 😅

Went to the Eiffel Tower. Had to wait around for an hour or two while our lunch table reservation became available. Took some pictures of the area. Also ducks. 🦆

Good morning! Today we are going to visit the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame, plus whatever else we have time for in the vicinity.

Started the day with Starbucks, which had much better food options than what we have in the States.

Afterwards, got a Smokey chocolate whiskey and a dessert to finish off the evening. I’m absolutely wiped out, otherwise I’d show a lot more pics and tell more stories. But I have to be up early tomorrow to go back out to Paris first thing! Ahh! 😵‍💫

Then returned to Disney for dinner (since our hotel is there) and got to try escargot at a restraint there. Was surprisingly good! Kinda like mushrooms. I had salmon in a leek and cheese sauce for the main course.

Went to the Gardens and were shocked at just how huge they were. We were only able to explore a small portion of the. There are statues everywhere, mostly of Greco-Roman mythological characters.

And birds. Lots of birds.
