My US Congressman’s office @levin.house.gov is following the changes and is aware of other veterans receiving a similar letter. Based on open discussions with my VA provider, this is very much a top down policy change that frustrates people working in the VA (and patients of course)

Yes, this happened to me.
Denial for services letter from a VA. The letter states that the VA no longer supports individual therapy with a licensed provider beyond a standard number of sessions. It goes on to direct veterans to pursue groups and community support.
