As a Texan, where 5 of the blue districts are being stolen by GOP, I am so incredibly grateful for your “yes” vote.

We blue Texans are losing our votes. We’re not getting them back. Best alternative is for my vote to be supplanted by CA blue votes.

My parents grew up under Nazi occupation. I grew up on family stories of that. When Trump in 2015 launched his campaign with “Mexicans are rapists” I knew fascism had arrived in USA.

My granddad was active in resistance. ~5 years his efforts did not yield results. Until it did.

I understand the instinct to think like-for-like is most effective.

The researcher behind the 3.5% rule went in expecting to find that peaceful protests were less effective. In fact they were significantly more effective!

At no point did I even get close to saying “that everything that comes out of a cop’s mouth is a lawful order”!

Nor was I “encouraging protesters to blame themselves”.

I am encouraging protesters to comply with the law. And a key reason I raised it is coz it’s critical to achieving our goal!

I’ve done training with Indivisible before, and that was very good!

I’ve also seen ACLU organizing training too.

One of the things we train protestors on is “comply with the law”.

Because when we don’t comply with the law it enables police and Trump to point at us and screech “they’re breaking the law!”

This is part of why lawful, peaceful protests are far more effective!

That’s probably merely a statement of fact.

The Peace Prize announced today was the outcome of all the nominations the Norwegian Nobel Committee received between Feb 1 2024 and Jan 31 2025.

Likely all the nominations-as-bribes-to-Trump came after he became president Jan 2025.

So, for 2026 Prize.
