Having Aragorn behead him is one of my least favorite things about the movies, not because I like the mouth of Sauron (I do) but because it goes against how Aragorn is as a man, a king, and a general honorable character.

Happy Saturday.
Did you know in the Lord of the Rings, in the books Aragorn doesn’t behead the Mouth of Sauron like we see in the movies. As a herald and ambassador of Mordor, the Mouth of Sauron is protected under the laws of war.

Did you know the person we really have to thank for Viggo Mortensen playing Aragorn is his son, Henry? When PJ called to offer Viggo the role, he said he had to think about it & that he’d never read the books. His son who had & was a huge fan over heard the phone call & told him he had to.
