Trying not to sit and crib about it. things just seem to fall apart. just got done with an event, and I'm suppose to be chilling and vacationing, but for some reason I just can't turn myself off even for a day. *sigh*

and I'm back after 7 months wow
been extremely busy with back to back LHEs. a few years ago I used to look forward to the time when I would get to travel so much for such events, but now I just feel exhausted, and very close to burn-out. I don't even remember the last time I had taken a break :/

I really wish, that Indian companies take security seriously, and pay fairly to researchers. During the former event, I did submit a bug(just to test the water), the triage team closed it under the pretence of it being OOS(even tho it wasn’t). I didn’t even bother arguing …

In Dec 2024, I went to a local hacking event which was being held by an Indian bug bounty platform. It was just bad. I genuinely wanted to give them a try, but the way things were run, I literally excused myself from the event and left, as h1 was having another event on the same day.

I just reported 2 critical reports on this fresh private program. 2 hours in and I realise that this is an Indian based startup. Can’t wait for them to downgrade the severity to “low” under the pretence of bullshit 🫠

* Made almost half the amount of bounties than what my goal was
* still gotta get better at client side bugs
* much better with reading JS and kinda familiar with browser quirks
* stuck with a handful of programs - Amazon, Salesforce and a couple of more

I think here’s my BB goal for 2024:
* Making 400k in bounties
* Focusing more on client side vulnerabilities
* Getting as familiar with JS and browser quirks
* Sticking to a few programs only - Facebook, Adobe, Amazon, 2 private program 🤷🏻‍♂️
* Take 2 months off lmao 😂

my peace, and the world I’ve created without them (simply cuz they’re just not accepting of it). Tbh I think I’ve gotten the worst lot of parents. Ek alcoholic hai and the other one has Stockholm syndrome, and both of them do trauma dump of me 🫠

It’s just so fucking taxing to make one point across. It just feels like Indian parents just slowly wear you down till the point where you just give up. I’m genuinely at a point where I’m gonna cut all my ties with them. That does make me sound selfish for sure, but at this point it’s impacting …

Been very sick of my parents crossing boundaries every now and then. Initially, as a kid I think I was low key okay with that, cuz I myself didn’t have an understanding of person space. Now it has become a huge issue cuz asking for it makes them feel “oh now he’s a big person…oh now he has money…”

1. Got my US visa approved
2. Going to #h1702 & #defcon
3. Kinda happy about the target for the event
4. Will be visiting Vegas and LA in the month of Aug
5. Will try to vlog as much as possible

Something that wasn’t all that great was the fact that my partner’s bday was on the day when I was not with her cuz of the event. Even with being away, I could’ve done things better to make her feel a bit better, but I royally fucked it up on multiple levels. It’s more of a journal thing, than me…

I was recently at another LHE by h1. Some part of it was great and some wasn’t. It was way wayyyy better than how I’d performed in the Vegas event, so I’m happy about that. Networked and met a handful of people, and something I’m happy about is the fact that they now remember me by name :P
