Teen vogue helped one of my friends from college. In HS, her bestie sent them a letter asking for advice on how to help my friend, who was being molested by a family member. They tracked down her bestie and helped get police involved. Saving her and her sisters from harm. This was pre-internet.

I got to visit my Mom this weekend. It was very emotional, as her brain is deteriorating from Alzheimers Disease, and she can barely move or speak. But she liked the bouquet of flowers and called them "bonitos" (pretty), and smiled and giggled when I kissed her.

Dementia is so cruel. I got to video chat with my Mom today. She has advanced AD. It's sad to see her this way, but she smiled when she saw me.
