I'm happy to pay taxes for those things. It's the "make childfree people pay ADDITIONAL taxes" that gets my goat when we are by and large already paying more than people with kids.

Make the rich pay what they owe before deciding single means tons of disposable income.

It's nearly impossible to reach back & touch the feelings of accomplishment, triumph, and joy I felt holding that book and knowing soon others would hold it too. We didn't see my grandparents a lot when we were kids, and my dad's mom was high-key racist. Shout-out to my mom for always taking the 5-hour car ride home as an opportunity to deprogram us from whatever awful stuff Gma had said that weekend. I was reminded of that today and seriously, thanks, Mom.
