Pete’s always supported the trans community. He fought the RFRA while mayor, protected the trans community in his city, I personally know 3 teens whose lives were saved during his campaign, he played Shea Diamond’s American Pie at every town hall, and hired members of the community as sec.

Pete’s always stood for trans rights, several trans teens’ lives were saved during his campaign, he hired members of the community as sec & has repeatedly defended the community.

All he said was some people have questions about fairness and we should be willing to listen. Not that they were right.
