No need to feel dumb. I only knew what an apiary was because I once read a book where the MC's father was a bee keeper.

Nope. Looks like we gonna have bee houses!

☀️ California gets their first solar-covered canal!

Placing panels over waterways generates clean energy while keeping the panels cooler, saves space compared to traditional solar farms, and reduces water loss from evaporation. There’s only a handful in the world so far - hopefully changing soon!

🦬 Bison make an extraordinary comeback in Yellowstone National Park!

Conservation efforts helped grow a population from a few dozen to 5,000, and a new study shows their grazing helps spread nutrients that boost grass growth and make it 150% more nutritious, helping to revive entire ecosystems!

🪸Philippines declares over 60,000 hectares of ocean as protected landscape!

These waters contain some of the coral reefs most likely to survive the impacts of climate change, and this huge commitment brings them much closer to the goal of safeguarding 30% of land and waters by 2030.

I felt inspired tonight, so I just paid a tree-planting foundation to plant 20 trees of various types. I hope they grow big and strong. Next month I'll plant more.

Pet parrots which typically live alone (whilst those in the wild live in large flocks) were given the technology to call each other. They would use it for up to three hours a day, and developed favourite friends 💔
on.ft.com/3K05vhS
When a parrot wanted to connect with a distant friend, a touchscreen showed a selection of other birds available online. The parrots learned to activate the screen, designed specially for them, by touching it gently with their tongues rather than pecking aggressively with their beaks.
"We had 26 birds involved," said Hirskyj-Douglas. "They would use the system up to three hours a day, with each call lasting up to five minutes." The interactions ranged from preening and playing with toys to loud vocal exchanges.
"When we went through the data, we found that most of these parrots had favourite friends," said Hirskyj-Douglas.

Huh. Gilroy looks like Elliott if instead of a whimsical and romantic writer Elliott were just a major asshole.

What if...part 2 where Farmer gets the lobster for Elliott as a gift? Farmer earns a lot, they can afford it. :3

Recently I saw a video showing a peach festival somewhere in South Korea. Wrong country but I can't help but think that Shou would love it. Heck, I would love to go myself, I love peaches.

All they had to do was bring the game to version 3.7, as they said they would, and keep it that way. It's in the name: Classic. But noooo, they couldn't help themselves and just had to keep fiddling and messing it up. FFS.

Dungeons, I don't really care for. I only do them if I really have to and if I can solo them. I'm more into side quests. One of the things I loved about Aion was that it had lots of side quests. And yes, they were mostly "kill x mobs" and "get x stuff" but I didn't mind. I liked them.

Welp. Guess I'm gonna have to start looking for a new MMO soon because NCSoft gone and ruined Aion Classic. Again. Only took them 4 years. *sigh* Maybe I'll try FF14 again.
