ftr Plato didn't really think people were frisbee shaped with four arms and four legs. His Symposium dialogue featured a group of men discussing what love is. This particular story/myth was told by Aristophanes as a joke but emphasised the idea of couples 'completing' each other.

Yeah 💯 agree.
And her being a victim of his emotional abuse made her a perfect target for Pele (who was essentially the cult's scout and probably actually one of the most evil characters in the film)

It was more my vibe I guess. To me it seemed like the main character (aside from godzilla) was 'bureaucracy' and I liked the way the film critique it.
