Being similarly afflicted, I’ve pretty much decided that my only option is to stop fretting…about the fact that I’m fretting. I fret because I’m not an insensitive bonehead (well, not all the time) and that won’t stop. And I can stop beating myself up about it!

Ensuring people have the wherewithal to eat and sleep with a roof over their heads is a great start. But I’d take issue with the idea of basic income (or jail!) replacing the Canada Council: grants to arts organizations help pay artists, yes, but also lower barriers to access for Canadians.
