I'm still amazed I graduated.

In 3rd grade we had to perform in front of the class individually with those. You couldn't get me out of my chair when it was my time.

Looking back to that makes me think that's the starting point for my crippling social anxiety.

I always had a collection of my favorite magazines that I hid in the closet (no pun intended). I was afraid of being asked why I had them since I was a guy.

Every time I watch Gilmore Girls they always seem to have an InStyle and I want to chill with them and read.

Watching Friends one time and Rachel said "I read 30 fashion magazines a month" and I was so jealous of that.

I can still remember reading an article in Cosmo about a Nordic woman who was horrifically sexually harassed at her job, she took them to court and won millions. This was over 10 years ago but I still remember my anger at the men while reading that.
Like I said I read them cover to cover.

I was obsessed with reading my monthly women's magazines and I wondered why? I had no interest in reading anything men. I would see my favorite covers like Jennifer Garner and think "I love her and also want to be her". I wanted to be a cover star, not a men's cover star.

After the Pilots left the city of Seattle, King County, and the State of Washington sued the American League claiming breach of contract. The AL agreed to give Seattle another team in exchange for dropping the lawsuit. In 1977 the Seattle Mariners joined the AL along with the Toronto Blue Jays 4/

It was so bad for the Pilots that they got sold to a used car salesman in Milwaukee named Allen H. Bud Selig and he moved the team to Milwaukee and became the Brewers.

Seattle had no team but in 1968 voters approved building a new stadium, construction started in 1972 on the Kingdome. 3/

When you expand in baseball you need 2 teams to keep a balanced schedule so MLB awarded a franchise to Seattle, the Pilots joined the AL along with the Kansas City Royals. There was a big problem though, the stadium in Seattle was not up to par, it was small, the toilets backed up, disaster city 2/
