Oh yeah, I'm still working on my roguelike. Just tweaked the save system and added an intro scroll #indiedev #gamedev #Love2D
Have you ever translated an English-language writeup of a French-language comic into Portuguese? I have. Boy, I sure do love playing linguistic telephone.
Added some more mechanics to my roguelike. #indiedev #gamedev #Love2D

Just dug up an old project made with Love2D. I was planning on making it a roguelike, so I added a function that randomly generates dungeon floors properly, complete with a minimap. #indiedev #gamedev #Love2D
Have a look at the new, improved patterns for the stage 1 boss. #gamedev #indiedev #madewithgodot
So I gave Trial Of The Hierarch another test playthrough, and it looks like a couple of other mechanics still need to be tweaked. I'm considering making it playable on browser, but I would like to get feedback from other players. #gamedev #indiedev #madewithgodot

I decided that I would de-emphasize the traditional lives system and introduce a sort of battery mechanic, where you have a set amount of energy that depletes over time or when you take damage.
It gets better. A few years later, he made two other RPGs set in modern-day Canada. Let me tell you, they are truly things of beauty.

Heard what's happening with IA. I feel now's the best time to say that I've been seriously considering uploading Dragoon Entertainment's early games (The Demon Rush, Skylight 1 and 2) over there.
The gameplay is honestly nothing special, just Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics but more annoying to control; the cutscenes are where the real magic is.
Since I evidently have Stockholm Syndrome when it comes to terrible indie RPGs, I'm playing through a turn-based strategy game by the maker of Skylight Free-range and The Demon Rush.
It's probably not the worst RPG I've ever played, but it's certainly one of the most aggravating. I might be one of less than a dozen people to play this game all the way to the end.
I just finished this indie RPG that can only be downloaded through the Wayback Machine. Ever heard of The Demon Rush? It's by the same guy, and it's just as bad.
I tried it once on Easy Mode. Took me about 35 minutes.
Just added shot types to the game! Now it's even more like my first shmup! #gamedev #godot
Don't give Atlus ideas on how to milk Persona 5 even further.
Just decompiled an infamously shoddy indie RPG from 2008, and found enough else-ifs and redundancies to make YandereDev blush. In a few ways, it reminds me of my first Game Maker project. Still not sure why this game uses up five times as much RAM as its file size.
In light of recent events, I've started playing this game called Liberal Crime Squad, a simulation/roguelike by the maker of Dwarf Fortress. Unfortunately, I'm not very good at either genre, so my latest run ended very poorly.
