Eyes = mirror to the soul

Darius' right eye got damaged and gained miscolour after the sword that cut through it - the blade cut through the lids, iris and his browbone before skipping off by his horn.

It doesn't bother him most days, but he is a little nearsighted on that eye.

It's pouring rain, and while an empty inn is a little suspicious, Everett is taking his chance. Too damn cold and wet to continue on. that and he's hungry.

Luckily he finds the staff in the kitchen, paying and finding bed to sleep in.

Several health potions and a couple hot toddies later, Everett is on the mend. It's the first time he's seen Astarion like this, and he's fallen for the man all over again.

Everett tries to hide how he feels, which makes him feel worse. Astarion ends up finding him curled up under their heaviest blanket, asleep and shivering with a high fever. With a soft "tsk", Astarion wipes away the sweat and uses what he has.+

If he's in Faerûn, then he wonders how the house got haunted. Astarion designed the home so he wouldn't have to worry about the laws of being invited.

But the ghosts don't seem to be bothering either of them and it costs way too much gold to build another home.

Everett has seen what goes on in a corn maze. That being said, he does enter the corn maze. And while he gets lost easily, he grabs as much corn as he can, slipping them into the bags he brought with him. +

#tavqotd due to most killers using knives and axes and other sharp object, Jezella isn't fairing too well, like she can fight back, but she's extremely weak to piercing and slashing damage. That being said she will turn her hideout to a saw trap.

#TavQOTD 2/2 As if that wasn't bad enough, Boris learned that his father was *promised* his death once he contributed to the clan's breeding program. Terrible family reunion overall...

He also saw his adoptive mothers. That was nice, though he wishes they reunited under better circumstances.
