update after 2 months of weekly/biweekly physical therapy:

been crushing 3+ mile walks but today I was able to jog 10 minutes with no pain 🙂‍↕️

I was also able to swim today after taking off a few weeks due to my eye issue (scleritis). we're getting back to normal!!!

I found out I have loose ligaments and I don't put any weight in my big toe when standing or walking. I felt like an idiot going to PT at first but I can finally walk for more than 15 min without pain in my injured tendon. and I'm just happy I got over my stupid ego and went to get some help!!!

Vaca frita is basically shredded beef pot roast! There's a whole pile of onions on it lol. The bowl has black beans. These all mix together really well. and the little brown things on the right are maduros - deep fried sweet plantains (when they are very ripe)
