I've always HCed Chloris & Yelv having this chaotic sibling energy 🤭 also cause his post-battle banter calling Peppy Cross a slowpoke has strong "annoyed but caring brother" vibes to it 😆

tho, I only did that to prove it could be done maining Multigun, so that's very much on the deep end of "super hardcore min-maxing 🤓" vs "fun casual build" 😅

I think it's probably easier to make it work as a support weapon. And so far it seems to be working great with electric Javelin 😌✨

chip damage, basically. 💀 I remember it took 30 min to beat Pharsis with Multigun/Knife bc it was SO hard to counter her self-heal. I think the only reason it worked in the end was bc, for whatever reason, she eventually stopped using the self-heal, so I was able to chip away the last of her HP 🫠

one art as your main attack and the rest just fill in the gaps. And even then, the Multigun just does really poor damage in general, and it only gets worse depending on how many ATK augments you might have to give up for survival instead. No other weapon requires this many compromises just to do...

If you want to use it as a main weapon, it's... a massive pain. 🫠 It only has 3 attack arts, all of them locked to different elements, so the damage can't fully benefit from builds that focus on 1 element (like Electric or Ether). From my experience, the only way to really make it work is to choose

Aesthetically it's still my favorite weapon design in a game, and it's such a waste to leave it as mostly a gimmick weapon 😔

electric reflect build is coming along nicely, & it surprisingly wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be to build up OD with Javelin/Multigun 🤔✨⚡

(no, i'm not just bullying him because he blew up my Skell twice yesterday 🙂)

finally got my most beloved/hated weapon back, the multigun 🥰🫠

beautiful and terrible in equal measure. and the closest I'll ever get to a proper bow weapon for Chloris, sigh 🥲

and the main reason why I think Haru and Yelv get along so well is because Yelv ALSO reminds Haru of his own best friend (loud and dumb but with a heart of gold 😂, also a bit of a physical resemblance...)

i really need to draw Haru's old squad at some point... i say for the 100th time...

more trivia: it's neat to finally be reminded of what exactly Yelv's best friend was like, cause (like a lot of players, I assume) I did HC Haru as being similar to Yelv's best friend, and the qualities he lists here are in fact very much like Haru, so I'm glad I don't need to rework this HC lol.

I love that I can still discover/rediscover fun stuff like this in the game even after all these years. 😌 Especially after reaching that point in endgame when you start to feel like no enemy can challenge you anymore, gimmicks like this are what create lasting (and funny) memories 😅

oh same, I've been sleep deprived for literal months and it's not a habit I'm going to fix any time soon 💀

I'm still thinking about their costumes 🫠 I have some ideas (mainly for Chloris...) but most of them just feel like AUs and not related to Halloween or spooky themes... so idk what to do... 😅

oh, that explains why he didn't just murder my entire party after blowing up my Skell 🤔😅

But I was still able to beat him in my Skell on the 3rd try, I just needed to immediately hit OD and all my arts before the 10 seconds were up 🫠👍
