Files will be easy. Apps and settings a bit more challenging.
That might work. What do you need to recover? Just files?
Can you install an older version of the OS to use the Time Machine backup? Feel free to reach out. I have stumbled through this as well.
I tried to brush her yesterday. And she protested that it wasn’t long enough, and she didn’t feel it put her in the centre of attention enough.
I need to repost a picture of one of our cats, Copurrnicus, rather than just posting the neighbour’s cat who has adopted me.
Seriously.

The final line of this short 'I knew the shooter' clip really, really needs to be memed and sampled - "This 'internet' shit is seriously no joke" ought to be the defining line of, well, the past three decades really: www.tiktok.com/@1brxnn/vide...

The reporting on Charlie Kirk’s killer in the UK & US highlights again how fundamentally ill equipped mainstream media is to report on political violence in the digital age.

They do not know anything about online far right meme culture & it’s starting to do real harm. #r4today
Newsweek has an overview as well. Breaking through from posts in the US in our feeds are people talkong about why the MAGA rhetoric has died down It is most likely because they know the civil war is amonst their ranks not the mation at large. www.newsweek.com/groyper-char...
What is a 'groyper? What to know about Nick Fuentes' alt-right movement
Fuentes' band of extremist followers take their name from the underbelly of internet meme culture.

Yes, this makes sense of what so many outlets are calling ‘incoherent’. The Groypers have their own cultural language. Moreover, friends of ours in the UK say their kids knew Charlie Kirk from TikTok. What does that mean for politics here?
She gasped so loudly that I almost jumped. Her favourite beer at our local community pub - The Castle Tap. (They are launching a fund to buy it.)
@kevglobal.bsky.social just put this down on the table in front of me and I was so excited that I started the people on the table next to us.
We had a lot in common, but I was in the UK on secondment from my job with the BBC in Washington DC. I didn’t know if I was going to be in the UK that much longer.
It’s been 20 years since we met. She says she was playing hot or not when one of the cute ones walked right towards her because he was interviewing her about her recently launched digital rights group.
I remember seeing a lass (fortunately in a bike lane) on an e-bike in Chicago a couple of years ago blithely doing a video call or possibly live-streaming herself. Her attention was far more focused on her phone than traffic.
Who could forget that igit with a death wish. If only there were one of them. I remember a graphic Washington Pos article about e-bike accidents. They explained why they included the details. It started with a mother talking about her son wiping out and the entire back of his skull just gone.
So glad to hear that Smol Paul is better. Pulling for him to feel 💯 his normal yeeting self soon.
I have a taxonomy of the most dangerous e-bike riders. I remember witnessing two besuited clowns riding on them through a red light on Clerkenwell by the Yorkshire Grey talking side-by-side as if they having a bar side chat. They were completely entitled and oblivious.
It has been too long since we were in Sheboygan, a place we called home for four wonderful years. And so wonderful to be welcomed back by friends here.
It’s so fabulous to be back in Sheboygan. I’ve really missed it. Lovely evening at the Leavitt Amp gig, then ice cream at the best parlour in the Midwest, South Pier Parlor
It is never any fun to have flight delays. But at least we can say we were caught up in the great London radar failure. Will miss a connection in the US and will see if we can get to Chicago tomorrow.
@suw.bsky.social and I are enjoying a cool summer evening at our local indie pub, the Castle Tap.
Interesting. I look forward to the review.
Oh. I hope you are feeling better soon and are back to umpiring as soon as possible.
Something you don't see (or hear) every day. This plane flew over the house just a while ago. Wow, what a scream its engine made. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Havi...

On a rainy Saturday in York on the wonderful local museum, I tried on an antler headdress found at a Mesolithic village - Star Carr. I think I look like an eccentric pilot. What do you think?
@kevglobal.bsky.social doing his best Frank (Donnie Darko) impersonation.
