Very glad things are getting better for Oscar!
All things pass, even the bad times. It will get better. Stormy seas make strong sailors, as they say.
Big congrats - good on you and keep getting better, every day! Big personal W!
I was watching your struggle and felt so bad for you in it. Hope you did end up with some last minute Halloween costume though. AI queries for basic tracking/logistics or basic customer service should be the simplest thing for big corps.

Sympathy for you, through and through.
Good on you for reporting them - our live chickens sat in a Cleveland shipping depot for a full 24 hours before being delivered. Two didn’t survive long after that. ☹️
Another small Halloween tradition is letting the chickens carve a pumpkin that has been “started” for them. Legitimately, they did pretty good this year, but they are now sticking their heads in the hole they pecked, like some maniacal chicken dentist. #Halloween #backyardchickens
Every Halloween, I reread The Whisperer in Darkness. It’s maybe 50 pages but I think it’s the best that Lovecraft wrote. Like so many of his stories, you know how it’s going to end but you’re internally screaming as the narrator follows his natural curiosity to its mind-breaking limits. #booksky
Got that Luxray from a Wonder Pick from you, so thank you! I did a 10 pack and only got a single three diamond…nothing better. So I appreciate your luck!
Early voted the other day for local city and school board elections and let me tell you - if you need a break from US national politics, download the NextDoor app and listen to your neighbors scream about school levies and sewer bond issues. (I’m fine paying + $10/year for working sewers).
Glad you’re here and have fully left Twitter!
It’s a nice collection…what about Ninja Gaiden III? Only played it once but remember it being really good.
It’s a really good book, and your review was spot-on! See Hendrix live, if you can - he’s really entertaining!
I gave a pair of Sleep Token albums repeated listens cause I hear they’re popular, but nothing sounded terribly interesting to me. Like it’s fine I guess for those who like it but it seemed just okay to me.
Graphically, absolutely perfect game at the time. (Everything else about it is perfect but all the little graphical details were something else. The mud that kicked up when Yoshi was running through swamps was my favorite little detail.)
It’s the best - one of the few holidays I don’t mind creeping (hehe) into the boundaries of the others.
Stephenson is a great writer - his Baroque Cycle remains a favorite of mine. Never read Anathema, but I should. Hope it’s good!
Went to the Pumpkins A Glow event at the Franklin Park Conservatory last night and had a blast - great seasonal fun and perfect October weather. Bring on Halloween! 🎃 #Columbus #Halloween
Ohhh…sorry to hear your favorite shop is closing. That’s awful. Look out for deals, and a new favorite place I suppose. I should go do more supporting of my local game shop.
I just fear what would happen if it rains or is freezing cold…if no kids show up the wife and I will be eating candy for months…the dogs can’t have it and I’m pretty sure the chickens can’t either. 😬
Thank you…yeah, not the greatest but it meant a lot to see the city show up and cheer on the runners. So many more than I expected, and it meant a lot to see them!
Wasn’t there some easily missable item that would lock you out of your only healing spell if you didn’t get it before a certain point?
“Data should always tell a story,” they say. 😬
As a data person what’s with those two noticeable spikes downwards? That one is quite pronounced…
Haha, can’t blame you…if there are others around I keeping hamming-it-up at a minimum too.
Saw this in the book Top 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die just yesterday and recognized where you were standing.(Personally, I never got into KISS).
