I've been thinking about it for a couple days and, like, he's a recovering addict who just had a double knee replacement surgery. Real good chance he got pain pills for that.

One of the things I like about my boss is that he respects me enough to take my council on things. And he listens. He knows when I'm passionate about something that I'll fight for it, but that if the decision doesn't go my way I'll still sell it to who I need to, and they won't know I disagree.

I did "red hot core" today which was less yoga and mostly crunches, so I followed it later with "fat burner" the more high intensity of the two starter work outs because I'm getting accustomed to the minor zen of it.

My parents always said there wasn't really anything to do about a broken toe anyway, but we were broke as shit and didn't have insurance, so they may have just not wanted to take me to the emergency room.

When my mom was between jobs, she would never tell me where she was applying, because she thought it would jinx it.

I feel like I might believe that. Not with jobs, per say, but if there's something good going on I try not to talk about it because it will probably go away.
