State agencies are on high alert after a sick duck was found on the UH Manoa campus and preliminary testing revealed an unconfirmed result of H5 subtype of Avian Influenza – more commonly referred to as bird flu.
Oahu bus riders are caught in the middle of a messy contract dispute. The Teamsters union says it has no plans to have bus drivers walk off the job at this time. But the bus operators say, it has to prepare itself and its riders, just in case.
The Oahu Interscholastic Association announced that the football game between Kahuku and Campbell will not be rescheduled after being postponed earlier this season.
