I donated to my local food bank and I hope you'll consider it too When SNAP benefits are cut off next week, millions of our neighbors are going to struggle to feed their families. This should never happen in America and we should pull together to help them. 😢

As SNAP benefits are cut, this should be something we demand of state governors to do with their states national guard.

Food banks & other forms of community aid will feel the stress caused by these cuts. There will undoubtedly be understaffing and shortages, this is one way we can prepare for this

I've never been so crazed with starting new projects. I'm trying really hard to focus on the cardigan I'm making, but lots of other yarns are screaming my name and I want to make everything all at once! This is a sign of how anxious I am about the world these days, I'm sure. 🇺🇸🤬🤪🤮😢😱💪

This week's #showmeyourknits inspired me to start making hats for charity, something I haven't done for quite a few years. These are the two I made so far this week, modeled by my Vermont teddy bear whose head is too small. These will go to the unhoused in southeast Michigan next month. ♥️ #knitsky

I offer you a much-needed kitty timeline cleanse of Sophie getting a great face and neck massage. She's getting old and is often anxious because of reduced hearing and vision, so I try to comfort her as much as I can these days. Such a sweetheart! #catsky #pets

I'm a knitter and my therapist is a crocheter, and we talked about this. She says that knitters look down upon crocheters. Some may, I don't. I just don't like the look of crochet fabric, but I didn't tell her that. Tried to make her feel better by saying that crochet looks too difficult to me.🤪
