Spring Store Update

I've recently updated my store with some new products including a series of glassware keychains on frosted acrylic, a lenticular Grand Festival postcard and a new and improved golden egg shaker keychain!

Some studies I've done because I've been working on some fan projects, which I'm not allowed to share 😅

The first 2 were referenced from photos I took on a recent Japan trip, and it feels weirdly cyclical doing studies based on photos I took myself. I'd definitely like to continue doing it though!

I won't be able to give specific estimates until the shipping process has begun, as each vendor has their own individual shipping processe,s but I'll be sure to keep you all in the know.

Witch's Chandelure - Print now available at my store

Out of the redraws, I think I struggled with this one the most because there were light sources everywhere, and my very amateur knowledge of lighting was not particularly helpful.

Fukuoka Sketchbook

KAM Soda Squid Monthly Update #2

Deskmats have finished production and are in the process of being shipped to the regional vendors.

The moulds for the keycaps are all done as well, and production should start in the coming weeks.

Blooming

Back in April I had the once-in-a-lifetime experience to go to Japan and see the Fukuoka show of the Hatsune Miku Blooming tour! This is my summary piece of the trip, with the bulk of the flowers referenced from my own photos!

(2/2) All deskmat invoices have also been paid & production should be done at the end of July.

Also, the group order bonus vinyl sticker has been made & they look great! They have been designed to be small enough to fit on your switch dock but should work virtually anywhere else

Journey at Dusk - Print now available at my store

This is another re-draw from 2022 and I made quite a few changes because I despised how the trees looked and had to make the very unfortunate decision to remove the bubble braid and a Zorua to ensure it's more readable.

Knights Errant

This was a rejected sketch I had for the bigger illustration as I wanted to challenge myself to draw something that had a richer story. Was a good way to test the rendering style and colours though!

Sparring

One day I was suddenly overcome by the urge to draw a knight and this is the result. I used a new rendering style, new techniques and spent time creating a story behind the illustration that helped to inform decisions. It was a very tough challenge but I'm happy with the result!
