Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue transported the man to a hospital for treatment. The investigation and search for the car and the shooter are still underway. 3/3
According to the victim’s account, he was shot by one of two passengers inside a white 1990s Honda Civic, which sped away from the parking lot around 8:00 p.m.
Witnesses say there was an argument between the victim and a woman in the vehicle just before shots were fired. 2/3
A 44-year-old man was shot and injured in the leg during an altercation in the parking lot of the Silverdale Fred Meyer store on Thursday, October 23rd. 🧵1/3
Detectives are still on scene processing evidence to determine if additional charges may be filed. The Health Department is also responding to inspect the residence due to plumbing and septic failures. 6/6
Four subjects were booked into the Kitsap County Jail for outstanding arrest warrants and various drug charges. Two of those booked were the renters, and charges will be forwarded for maintaining a dwelling for drug purposes. 5/6

A total of 15 people were contacted at the property. 9 individuals came out from inside the residence after numerous commands. 5 individuals were contacted in vehicles/RVs on the property. 2/6
On October 22, 2025, at about 0600 hours, the Kitsap County Multi-Agency SWAT team assisted deputies and detectives with the service of a narcotics related search warrant. The suspect residence is in the 2100 block of Bellpark Drive in East Bremerton. 1/6 🧵

A Kitsap County Sheriff’s Deputy spotted the body as Deputies searched for a Bellingham area man in the water around the dock. 2/3
A death investigation is underway after an apparent drowning at the Kingston Marina on Thursday, October 16th.
The body of a 42-year-old deckhand on a commercial fishing boat was found underwater at the end of a dock at the marina after a crew member called 911 to report him missing. 1/3

Further investigation determined the scratch on the boyfriend's face occurred when the woman was defending herself from an assault.

Deputies booked the man into the Kitsap County Jail on suspicion of domestic violence assault and unlawful possession of a firearm. 3/3
As Deputies questioned the couple, the 40-year-old girlfriend told them her boyfriend had a handgun in the residence. Deputies ran a check and found out the boyfriend was a convicted felon and prohibited from owning or possessing firearms. 2/3

Medical Examiner Identifies Victims in Beach Drive Incident in Poulsbo10/9/2025
The decedents from the incident on Beach Drive in Kitsap County on Oct. 7, 2025, have been identified as:

Richard Gaines, a 55-year-old male, and
Marjorie Gaines, a 53-year-old female.

There should be damage to the front passenger side of the vehicle.
