-Yumi is pretty quiet and sometimes standoffish when she is freed. She definitely has more of a spine then Mizuki, and this leads to her constantly budding heads with Ulrich. A lot.
-Even though she doesn't let it show, a lot of the boys' words dig at her and eat at her sense of self.

-Like Yumi in canon, Mizuki was a loner with many of her peers making fun of her for how loud she is (both volume of voice and personality). Being apart of the Lyoko Warriors is the first time she belonged somewhere and she was wanted.

Right: Yumi stands in her lyoko form. Her hair is short, cut at her chin. She wears a modified kimono with cap sleeves, and an over skirt. Her nagajuban is a bright red, with the main kimono is a dark gray with a pattern that is a mix of a spiderweb and shattered glass. Her over skirt and obi are black with a bright red hourglass like pattern outlined in gold, with the obi held by a gold rope. She wears knee high boots with the same pattern as the obi and over skirt. Her face is done akin to Kabuki theater make up, and a Hannya mask. Her fans are black with the same pattern as her kimono.

Mizuki stretches out her hand, trying to force herself to touch Ulrich's, eyes squeezed shut. Ulrich is glaring at her through the corner of his eye.

Mizuki (thinking): -Just hold his- hand...

Ulrich pulls his hand away, Mizuki collapsing in relief

Ulrich: Don't touch me.

Mizuki (under her breath): Oh thank god.

Mizuki and Ulrich sit on a bench, as far apart as they can. Mizuki is curled up into a tight ball, looking over at Ulrich who is turned away from her, with a sour expression on his face.

Mizuki (Thinking): It's been about an hour and he hasn't said a word the entire time...

Mizuki (thinking): I wish we didn't have to do this... But... Jeremie says that if we didn't people might start getting suspicious.

Mizuki is stressed now, sweat beading on her skin.

Mizuki (thinking): What if people are staring at us? What if they are catching on I'm not the real Yumi? Maybe I should do something more 'Yumi-like.' Odd told me that Ulrich and Yumi were 'practically a couple.'

Not truly! In this Au when Yumi fell into the digital sea, Xana pulls her out first before Jeremie could. In a panic, Jeremie is able to dig up and de-xana the Yumi clone Xana sent them a few days before (Image problem happens before Cruel Dilemma in this AU). She takes the name Mizuki later on!

Jeremie: -And it won't be long before they catch up. Aelita is waiting in the Mountain Sector. Ulrich, you'll be meeting up with her and guiding her to the tower.

Jeremie: Odd, normally you would be going with him but, if the birds make it into the lab I won't be able to focus on guiding Aelita and Ulrich to the tower. Keep them distracted as long as you can.

Jeremie (off screen): -After all, you don't have any real experience with Xana attacks, so you won't be any use to Odd-

Mizuki's excitement is fading, being replaced with uncertainty. The background behind her is fading to black.
Jeremie (off screen): -And with you being a creation of Xana sending you to Lyoko may cause you to revert back to your original programing. So instead I'll have you sit in the lab with me so I can keep an eye on you.

Panel 3:
Mizuki is small, the background solely black. She is crest fallen, realizing just what is going on. She has no important role, Jeremie just wants to babysit her.
Mizuki: Oh... Okay.

Odd stands on one leg holding a fennekin, both with big smiles. He wears a long, blue striped shirt over a white shirt with a purple pattern of a symbol that is a mix of a starburst, a beetle, and a pupil, with tan shirt, and Birkenstock sandals. An info box besides him reads:

Odd was born in Kalos to a large family, leading him to compete with his sisters for his parents’ attention. He started to pull pranks in school, leading to him getting expelled. Instead of trying to discipline their son, they shipped him off to Sinnoh to do the region’s gym challenge for ‘life experience’ despite Odd having no pokemon battling experience or interest. He runs into the team pretty shortly after getting dropped off, leading him to challenging Ulrich to a battle. He gets his ass whooped pretty quickly. The team guides him to the nearest Poke Center, and Odd from that point sticks to them like glue. Mostly Ulrich. Even with him have very little real interest in battling, Odd is pretty self conscious over his lack of skills compared to the rest of the team, paying the most attention to the rest when they are battling so he can mimic what they do.

His pokemon are: A male fennekin named Kiwi, a female espurr named Papaya, a male abra named Coconut, and a female hoothoot named Mango.

Yumi stands holding a murkrow on her arm. She wears a purple gradient sleeveless zip up top, redish-purple asymmetrical skirt with a symbol that is a mix of a ghost with devil horns and a chain attached to the waistband. She also has ripped fishnet leggings, fingerless gloves, belted bands on her right arm and left leg, and black combat boots. And info box besides her reads:

Born and raised in Kanto, Yumi is an experienced trainer coming to Sinnoh looking for a challenge after completing her own region's Gym Challenge. Currently the newest member of the team, she ran into them one night as they stayed at the same poke-center and just hit it off with everyone, deciding to tag along, helping out with her more advanced battle knowledge.

Her pokemon are: Lantanta, a female murkrow, Rhubarb, a female budew, and Band Berry a male misdreavus.
