Unreal how sexy an engineer's notebook is to me. All those almost indeipherable notes and equations, tiny sketches...like WOW. Even better if it's one they clearly take on field trips so the pages are stained with oil and dirt and whatever. Yes bby show me that you could build me a piping system

These are good questions to ask! But when it's phrased as "normal people can't do X bc I can't" it invariably ends up being internalized bigotry of some kind & I'm distracted from the *real* question bc it is more important to try to dismantle THAT than to help someone learn to write characters gud
