Well that was fun! The pure electric Riddara RD6 is better off road than I expected, but the car's software could use some polishing. Should be quite a popcorn-worthy video.

Chucked the Riddara RD6 electric pickup truck into the swamp with very amusing results. I like that it's got 65W USB charging because we worked the drone hard on this one. Footage looks great. Got a backlog of videos right now (a good problem to have I guess) but I'll get this review out ASAP.

New Zealand has yet ANOTHER new electric vehicle on the market! This is the Riddara RD6 pickup truck. Supposedly it does 0-100 in 4.5 seconds and goes off road... They put all-terrain tires on it for me so let's find out! 😁

I met these sweet EV peeps from the UK today. Barbara and Simon from... uh... Suffix (?) were a hoot. Had heaps of laughs, plus they gave me this FREAKING AWESOME COLLECTION OF AUDIO CASSETTES!!!

The embargo is over: the real reason a bunch of car-loving hacks (myself included) were sent to Safe Korea was... THIS!
It's the new Kia PV5 - it's a modular electric van which means it can be made into 16 different shapes, from food vans to motorhomes.
Vid goes live on Friday! It's weird. Like me.

Now that the embargo is over I can finally share the reasonI was in Seoul last week. Richard and I grabbed a brand new Kia PV5 cargo van and went for an hour long blast around the city, even stopping to check out a cool EV charger.

Make stew while the sun shines! Doing meal prep for the week in my retro kitchen while charging the car - with sunlight! Feels good, saves money too. Can't wait to see my power bill at the end of this month. 😊
If you don't have solar yet, and if your roof allows, you'd be crazy not to get it.
