No update this time, started working on eventing and tileset changes-- which take a lot more time to do. The relevant resprites are the ones related to the Batshitball Arc, which I'll be working on refurbishing first.
Now in Version 0.8.11, Resprited Sheryl, some party members and some important characters. I really dig these designs.-- I spent whole days per character.
These are resprites of some Aspirers and some other sprites as well. That's the last of the resprites that are per group or per batch-- the rest are resprites of characters with a lot of sprite variations-- like main characters.

Now in Version 0.8.10.
Most crockheads now resprited. There are 3-- but there are 3 left but they have cutscenes so they'd cost a lot more work. These new designs are neat, some designs are too iconic in my mind so I barely changed them.

Now in Version 0.8.9.

0.8.8, SOME Crockhead Resprites down. There's a lot of stuff regarding the design of the Crockheads I had to consider, like-- Their helmets, I decided to remove them because they cannot-- Physically work and that bothered me.

Also it's my birthday in like 5 hours (the 13th).
0.8.7 out. Some delays oops.

These are the new re-sprites. None of them used templates. The originals of these batch are actually very significant because I really liked the colors they used-- Almost every NPC from then on uses the color pallete used with them.

More resprites, should cover everything in the first 2/3rds of Act 1. Excluding the main characters, and stuff related to the placeholder events.

Version 0.8.5 is out, it includes a Candy Bane resprite and all of her related art assets. I'm also working on the new system I made for battle animations, both for enemy and party member skills. Soon to be implemented.

Forgot to post. There was an update. It was a minor but major update; it's something to take note of-- I'll link it in the replies.

In the meantime, here are some of the remaining sprites that are added in the build. Last time, I forgot to show the unensored sprites-- so here.
First sprite-work after the hiatus. Here's a couple new respsrites for some of the NPCs & even major characters.

All of these except Egor, Ivan, and Clifa will be implemented at the next small update-- probably coming next week.

Some new uncensored variants to be seen in game.
Here's the templates made so far, including some of the male ones.

I will do something I've never done before, but I'll have to bring Shudderfly Development to a temporary HIATUS.

#rpgmaker #gamedev Here are the sprites for the main 4 members of the Old Faith-- I tried to go thru with their original designs but loose clothes designs are outside my comfort zone still-- so I redesigned them to better fit my skillset.

Here they are, I think they look fire.
The next build will be the first fully polished build in a while, where it includes battle anims & all the finalized assets. I'll explain why in the future. These don't include the new sprites yet, but here's all the female sprites. The ones w/ numbers are ones to be updated.
Been doing like the database stuff, so I can't show much interesting as it's just calcs-- but I did recently create a google doc hub for all my other docs, so that every plan I make is now well sorted. On it's cover page, there's a sketch for a CG I made so I can easily spot it.
ehh-- becoming a drama ytuber is prolly not worth it.

the community made by a ytuber depends on what they make, and a drama ytuber's communities have a good chance of spiraling out of control.
Some Concept Art & What's Next. I show the exterior of Umbra's Church, how it looks from a distance, and what I envision of the interior.

I can't say too much, but I'm going to take the biggest personal step for myself as a gamedev soon, once I'm ready-- I'll talk about it.

Here's what I've made regarding: The "Wrong Zone" beneath the Church.

Looks oddly colorful despite being only 6 shades of color. Working on a whole lot more, specifically CGs of scenes I've longed to portray.
