Sakura blinks. It takes him a few seconds to compute what, exactly, this all means. But the second he does—

His face goes red, and he demands, “YOU BROUGHT ME ALL THE WAY HERE FOR A STRAY CAT?!”

[or:] suo and nirei stumble upon a stray cat during patrol, and they convince sakura to help them care for it. despite his best efforts, sakura finds himself completely enamored by the cat, and she turns out to be an especially comforting companion when he finds himself sick with a cold that just won't go away
