stitch vs. sketch vs. subject: TEX!!!!

After we adopted Tex in May of this year, I wanted to design an extra special ornament for my little cowboy 45 since his name is Tex I used a Western style font and added a lasso and some Texas bluebonnets!

I taught a child to knit today and it was an amazing experience 😭 she was a natural and picked it up immediately, btw. I’m reflecting on how I learned to knit when I was 9 from this lady my mom knew and it became a lifelong hobby so I’m grateful to pass it on.
