During the last government shutdown I had to open a GoFundMe just to survive because I didn't get paid for so long. It was terrifying. I was looking for other jobs while I was still working my job because I had no idea if I would be getting paid any time soon??? My bills were piling up!

As a government employee that was furloughed during the last shutdown, but still had to go to work every single day without getting paid I can tell you for sure.

This shutdown is nothing but good at the moment. ICE agents aren't getting paid, but they still have to work. They WILL break.

It really sucks how a bunch of fursuiters will forever be known to me as "One of the ones who ghosted me when I asked about features of their fursuit"
