I’m a Jewish, anti-Netanyahu/Likud but for Israel to exist & for Palestinians to be free from Hamas, pro-LGBTQ+ rights, Black community supporter, anti-Christian Nationalism, fuck ICE, anti-AI art, American feminist.
I’m also a kid at heart who draws cartoons.

Unfollow me if you hate any of that.

Weird artistic choice if you’re right.

Maybe I missed something but why is that girl pink & green?

It’s sad that bias is so strong that it closes their minds.

The whole Gorman plot was blatant, ham-fisted Nazi propaganda against Jews in space!
Star Wars is antifascist. I’m not sure where Marxism fits in except when there was a bit of anti capitalism in the sequel movies.

Mine told me no more cats for now & Mothman was making him change his mind! The owner said we live too far away as they do post-adoption checks to make sure it’s working out.

Oof. Way off.
Her wiki says her dad was an electrician, she is the 7th of 11 siblings, was homeless for a while, & even used alcohol & drugs to block out grooming & r*pe in her early teen years.

I wonder if seeing any of the Hamas footage from Oct 7 would have changed her perspective. 😞

Does she not know about the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank? Why there’s a wall along a road there?

That’s the actress who played Imperial Security Bureau supervisor & antagonist Dedra Meero on Andor.
So, yeah, she played a space Nazi who was loyal to the Empire & its ideology & was obsessed with control.
But she doesn’t see how Hamas’ ideology that isn’t about peace but about control?

So, if anyone sees this & wants to meet adorable, rambunctious, sweet kittens & cats available for adoption & they live in Rochester, NY or within driving distance (Buffalo, Syracuse, etc.), please check out Pawsitive Cat Café!
(I recommend meeting Mothman as well.)

A black cat in a red collar named Mothman.
He was quite chill the whole hour we were there, curled up on a short cat tree, enjoying my husband petting him.

I caught the brothers being cute together by the merch displays.
Not pictured: Their sister, Crumpet.
(All 3 are bonded. Again, I couldn’t adopt them because we don’t live near enough. 😭)

I went fishing for kitties & got a clowder of voids!
Serena (orange collar), Guinness (black & white collar), Toffee (pink collar - Guinness’ brother), & Sasquatch (no collar)!
All adoptable & we live too far away to be eligible to adopt them!

Later, Stanley climbed up a wooden structure on a wall & watched everyone else from not-hidden perch (he looks indignant 😂) & Bubbles used my purse as a spot to hide behind before pouncing on another toy.
Bubbles looks like my Toby did when he was a kitten but she was quieter than he was.

We went to a cat café today & met the most rambunctious kitties!
Meet Bubbles (tuxedo) & Stanley (white w/black head, tail, & spots).

I promise: you are not "betraying" or "abandoning" someone by refusing to take on responsibility for their emotional regulation.

You're setting a boundary that is compassionate & realistic-- for both of you.

Oh, & if the people who think school shooters & other shooters, like husbands who shoot their wives, have mental health issues? FUCKIN’ ADVOCATE FOR MENTAL HEALTHCARE TO BE ACCESSIBLE TO ALL & ERASE THE DAMN STIGMA ABOUT GETTING THERAPY, you toxic masculinity right wing idiots!

> I believe I would not be capable in a high stress, scary situation to handle a gun & do not have the skills to use a gun against a wild animal or a threatening human in self defense.
kosherart.bsky.social
I told my husband that if he wants to have a gun in the house to store it in a combination lock safe separate from the ammo & to put them in good, separate hiding spots, & never tell me or the kids that these things exist in our house.
It is for emergency situations only that he can get to.>

1 - Store the piece empty & separate from the ammo. Both in combination safe storage, not lock & key.
2 - If you see a gun, always assume it is loaded & treat it as such by never putting your fingers near the trigger & never point it at anyone.

Stuff like this. Common sense? I wish it was.

My husband’s uncle who uses guns visited us in IN once. I told him how guns scare me, so he was kind to explain basic gun safety to me using a pistol so I wouldn’t be.
He said that idiots who don’t follow safety protocols don’t deserve to own any gun & there are a lot of idiots!

It takes a lot of skill to shoot 1 or 2 bullets to take down a deer.
Hell, it takes patience to just sit in the woods covered in deer urine just waiting for a deer to show up! If that makes a guy happy, all I ask is that he showers before being anywhere near me!
kosherart.bsky.social
This is why when gun regulations & shit come up I’m all cool with hunting license guns but not automatic type guns that shoot a barrage of bullets. The latter would just disintegrate a rabbit or render a deer unusable.
Skilled hunters know the right tools for what is hunted & care about safety.

I had a science teacher in junior high who was a hunter. He’d use the meat & then taxidermize (?) the animal.
Now, he was an great teacher & I learned a lot of biology because of him, but I will NEVER get over seeing him do taxidermy on a weasel up close so don’t expect me to even pluck a chicken! 😖

I agree with you.
Hunting for sport, like poaching & trophy, is awful but some hunting is necessary to keep certain animal populations from being too much (see: deer in PA) & there are hunters who know how to use the majority of the animal — skin, antlers, bones, meat, etc. — for survival reasons.
