I picked up a cake at a bakery the other day just because I was having a friend over. The guy asked if it was a birthday and I said no, but he laughed and said everyday is someone’s birthday and gave me a bunch of free candles, a cake cutter and decorations. It was so lovely!

I have a beautiful childhood friend who has been through a lot and come out on the other side.

I’m just so in awe of people who have fought so many battles and still have a smile on their face and time for others.

My son has a field trip to go see a play today and he couldn’t be more different than me as a kid right now.

He keeps trying to tell me school is canceled and he doesn’t have to go. I would have wished I could have been in the play.
